Itinerary

Meet at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminal to board your flight to Cape Town via Addis Ababa, Nairobi, or Seychelles. Upon arrival in Cape Town, after clearing customs and immigration, we will board our coach for the transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a local tour of Cape Town, visiting the Malay Quarter, passing by the Castle, and exploring Table Bay, including the Millerton Lighthouse and other notable sites. Weather permitting, we will experience Table Mountain via the Aerial Cable Car, ascending 1,089 meters above Cape Town to explore the summit—a flat-topped mountain that is a defining feature of the city. Additionally, we’ll enjoy a 12-15 minute helicopter ride (weather permitting) for stunning aerial views of the famous beaches and the Twelve Apostles. Please note that infants are not permitted on the helicopter ride. Afterward, we will return to the hotel, where you can relax for the rest of the day, enjoy dinner at the hotel, and spend the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula, allowing ample time to appreciate its stunning beauty. We'll depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa's most picturesque routes, passing through Hout Bay. Weather permitting, enjoy a cruise to Seal Island to observe seals and seabirds at Duiker Island. We'll then continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where indigenous flora and fauna thrive in this invaluable wilderness area. The scenery on the way to Cape Point, located at the southwestern tip of the reserve, is especially beautiful in spring when wildflowers blanket the landscape. At the top, you'll find the new lighthouse—the most powerful in the world—emitting an electric light with a strength of 19 million candle power across the ocean. You can ascend to the lighthouse via the Funicular. After a day filled with exploration, we will return for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and head to Hermanus, a charming seaside town that captivates visitors. Our first stop will be Stony Point to see the penguins up close and personal. Afterward, we will check into our hotel, and you can enjoy the evening at your leisure before spending the night there.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head out for an exhilarating quad biking experience, traversing the natural habitat of the rare fynbos plant species. In the afternoon, you will have the day free to enjoy optional activities in and around Hermanus. We will return to the hotel in the evening, allowing you to relax before spending the night there.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Garden Route, a stunning stretch nestled between the Indian Ocean and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Our first stop will be Knysna, located in the heart of the Garden Route, ideal for exploring the town and its surrounding areas. We will arrive at our accommodation in the late afternoon or evening, allowing time to relax before dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Oudtshoorn, known as the 'Feather Capital of the World,' which takes about 2.5 hours. Our first stop will be the world-famous Cango Caves, where you can marvel at the stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Next, we will visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch to appreciate the grace and beauty of the world's fastest animal. Following that, we'll head to the Ostrich Farm, where you can enjoy entertaining performances by the well-trained birds. You'll even have the chance to ride an ostrich and attempt to break an ostrich egg—an amusing challenge! Afterward, we'll drive back to the hotel, where you'll have some time to relax before dinner. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with optional activities. Please note that the tour leader will make every effort to accommodate the desired activities at an additional cost. In the evening, we will return to the hotel, allowing you to spend the rest of the day at leisure before an overnight stay. IMP NOTE : 1.On this day, we can participate in a maximum of 2 to 3 optional activities, depending on the available time and the size of the group. 2. All optional activities must be booked in advance, and you should inform your Tour Leader about your choices upon arrival in South Africa.

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to George airport for our flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, enjoy a packed lunch before we continue to the man-made marvel – Sun City – renowned as the ultimate destination for family fun under the African sun. Sun City is a vibrant, energetic city that never sleeps! Day and night, it pulses with excitement, rising from the heart of an ancient volcano. Spend the day at your leisure, savor a delicious dinner, and relax overnight at your hotel. Palace of the Lost City or equivalent.

Today, enjoy a full day at your leisure to explore and experience everything Sun City has to offer. Discover the thrilling Sun City complex, including its casino, shows, fun games, and the Valley of Waves (all optional). You can also partake in additional activities such as quad biking, paragliding, horseback riding, clay pigeon shooting, and archery (all optional). Take time to wander through the stunning Lost City gardens, visit Kwena Crocodile Farm, and don’t miss the exciting artificial Earthquake experience. Savor dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and board our coach for the transfer to our safari lodge. **Please note, Kwa Maritane offers 25-seater vehicles for safaris, while Mabula provides 10-seater vehicles for safari tours. In the afternoon or evening, embark on an exciting safari adventure. Later, savor a delicious dinner at the lodge. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Set out early in the morning for a game drive safari to witness the wildlife at dawn. Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and heading to Johannesburg or Pretoria. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight home. Depart with cherished memories of your South African adventure.

Cooked Vegetarian Breakfast will be provided as per the Hotel Menu. Indian breakfast consisting 01 or 02 hot items like Upma, Poha, Idli / Uttampam / Medu wada with chutney/sambhar etc along with Masala tea, Masala milk, khakhra. (In Sun City & Johannesburg, breakfast prepared by the hotel only).
Afternoon picnic lunches during sightseeing served along with soft drinks, mithai from India, chaas (menu dependent), yoghurt etc.
Indian Dinner will be prepared by our Indian Rajasthani Maharaj & served in the hotel itself. Dinners in Sun City will be in by our chef at the hotel depending on hotel permission.

All personal items, food and beverages, and any other items not specified in the itinerary or menu are the responsibility of the individual to pay for.
Any departure fees or taxes that must be paid by individual passengers at the airport are not included in the tour cost. However, currently, there are no such taxes in South Africa that need to be paid.
Policies

Cancellation Policy : 

  • 90 Days Prior to Departure 25% of the Tour Cost.
  • 60 Days Prior to Departure 50% of the Tour Cost.
  • 45 Days Prior to Departure 75% of the Tour Cost.
  • 35 Days Prior to Departure 100% of the Tour Cost.
  • All the travelers must clear all their respective payments 30 days prior to their tour departure failing to which company has the right to cancel their booking without any notice

Important Notes : 

  • Rates quoted are based on 01 ZAR = INR 4.50, any increase in the currency (ZAR to INR), will affect tour cost.
  • Luggage handling services will be provided throughout the tour in the motor coach and hotels, except at the airport, where passengers must manage their own luggage using a trolley. Each individual is responsible for their own luggage and belongings.
  • All travelers must carry their own passports, tickets, foreign exchange, and any other essential documents. It’s advisable to leave a photocopy of your passport at home or at the office and to bring an additional copy while traveling.
  • Children under 18 years old must present an original unabridged birth certificate that includes details of both parents when traveling to and from South Africa.

             1.This is compulsory requirement by South African government which will be verified at airports. For if any 01 parent travelling, NOC required by non-travelling parent, if deceased death certificate required of deceased parent.

           2.All parents / legal guardians of children under 18 years old have to visit the South African embassy in Mumbai for verification / checks / concern form has to be signed by both parents in presence of the consular at the consulate, this formality is solely traveler’s responsibility

          3.The concern form given by the consulate has to be carried along while travelling to South Africa. Any travel expenses incurred to reach consulate for this formality has to be borne by the clients.

  • Passengers with checked baggage exceeding 20 kg per person and hand luggage over 5 kg will be required to pay excess baggage fees directly to the airport and airline authorities.
  • We retain the right to modify, change, adjust, or cancel any specific departure or excursion advertised. For our passengers' convenience, the itinerary may be revised.
  • The temperature in South Africa in Oct-Nov averages about 18 degrees to 24 degrees. One jacket/sweater will be recommended for this kind of weather along with gloves & ear caps.
  • Indian vegetarian meals are requested in the group bookings for flight portion, incase if Jain meals are required please let our sales executive know for the same during booking or atleast 25 days prior to the departure.
  • Please note during your travel drinking water in South Africa is safe to drink and cook when taken from taps, this is announced by The Department of Water Affairs and Forestry, South Africa. You may drink tap water in the room and refill the bottle incase if you carry one.
  • Each family must bring one kitchen bag (18 kg) to be checked in at Mumbai airport. This bag will be collected from the baggage carousel at the final destination and handed over to the tour leader upon arrival.
  • The driver, coach guide, and tour leader will make decisions regarding all planned activities and sightseeing, taking into account logistics and legal regulations. The coach will not be available for individual optional activities.
  • Clients are expected to be punctual during the tour. Our friendly tour leaders will wait until the designated time, but if passengers are late, they will need to arrange their own transportation to the next stop.
  • Johannesburg & area is not one of safest to walk or move around by yourself. However, if we are staying at the Emperors Palace (Metcourt Suites) campus it’s safe to walk around hotel lobby & surrounding hotel premises. It is suggested to check with hotel securities to move around hotel area. While in Cape Town & Garden Route, we recommend travelling in group of atleast 4-6 people to move around after 17:00 hrs.
