Following breakfast, the driver and guide will escort you to the Cable Car Station. Enjoy a 20-minute ride on the cable car to take in the breathtaking views. At an altitude of 2800 meters, you'll have time to admire the scenery, capture photos, visit the pagoda—a spiritual landmark—and climb 600 steps to reach the summit of Fansipan, known as the Roof of Indochina. Allocate approximately 1.5 hours for the hike and photography. In the afternoon, explore Sapa Rose Valley via a round-trip funicular ride on the Muong Hoa line. Following breakfast, travel back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, visit Ba Dinh Square—the largest square in Hanoi, known for hosting major cultural and political events, including demonstrations. Begin our exploration at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the outside only, as it is closed in the afternoon and on Mondays and Fridays), Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, his fish pond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Following this, enjoy a green car or cyclo tour (for groups smaller than 5) around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, an intriguing maze of narrow alleys and shop houses known as ‘The 36 Streets’—each named after the traditional goods sold there, from fabrics and medicines to crafts. After breakfast, head to Ninh Binh, home to the popular attractions of Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, beloved by visitors from around the globe. After two hours, you will reach Hoa Lu, the Ancient Capital. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh proclaimed himself King, and Hoa Lu served as the capital for the next 41 years (968-1009). The first 12 years were under the Dinh dynasty, led by King Dinh Tien Hoang, with the nation called Dai Co Viet. The subsequent 29 years were under the Le dynasty, ruled by King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai To relocated the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long, now modern-day Hanoi, turning Hoa Lu into the former citadel. Today, two temples stand on the site of the old royal palace, one honoring King Dinh Tien Hoang and the other King Le Dai Hanh. This visit offers insight into Vietnam’s feudal dynasties and key historical eras. In the afternoon, take a 5-minute walk to the boat station and embark on a two-hour boat tour of Tam Coc, often referred to as the 'Halong Bay on land.' Tam Coc features three limestone caves that extend along the Ngo Dong River. The boat ride offers a serene journey through picturesque landscapes of limestone mountains, rice fields, and temples, passing from Hang Ca (the first cave) to Hang Hai (the second cave) and Hang Ba (the third cave). Departing from your hotel in Hanoi in the morning, your journey to Halong Bay takes you through the fertile landscapes of the Red River Delta. Along the way, observe daily life in Vietnamese villages, where locals tend to rice paddies, transport pigs to market on bicycles, and plow the fields with water buffaloes. upon arriving in Halong, board a traditional sailing junk. As the ship embarks, the crew will warmly welcome you and ensure your stay onboard is both comfortable and enjoyable. Spend the afternoon discovering the hidden gems scattered across the Bay of the Descending Dragon, including mesmerizing caves, untouched beaches, charming floating villages, and dramatic rock formations emerging from the emerald waters. While onboard, enjoy the ship's amenities at your leisure, or participate in a cooking demonstration by the chef, where you can try your hand at making traditional Vietnamese dishes. After the tour, you'll be transferred to Noi Bai Airport for your late afternoon flight to Da Nang. The flight must be scheduled after 5 PM for domestic travel. In the afternoon, our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Here, you'll enjoy a basket boat ride through the coconut forest, learning about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community. During the tour, the boatman will craft charming ornaments such as hats, rings, and glasses from coconut leaves. You’ll experience the fun of gliding on the water and take part in an exciting basket boat race, accompanied by lively drumbeats and cheers. Afterward, transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town to explore the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the 300-year-old Chinese temple, and the 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese merchant's house. After breakfast, transfer to the Ba Na Hills Station for a one-day tour of Ba Na Hills. Enjoy a ride on a state-of-the-art cable car system, offering stunning panoramic views and a sensation of soaring through the sky among the clouds and breeze. Take in the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, situated 1,400 meters above sea level amidst the clouds. The breathtaking views from the bridge provide fantastic photo opportunities and an unforgettable experience. Please note that entrance to the Wax Museum is not included. After the tour, travel along the coastline of Hoang Sa – Truong Sa Street to the Son Tra Peninsula, where you’ll visit Linh Ung Pagoda to see Vietnam's tallest Lady Buddha Statue and wish for good fortune. Catch the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After breakfast, enjoy some free time at your leisure. In the afternoon, our tour guide will pick you up to begin your journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are a vast network of interlinked tunnels located near Saigon, forming part of a much larger system beneath the country. A guided tour of these tunnels offers insight into their history, the challenges of underground life, and the resilience of the Vietnamese during wartime. Originally constructed by the Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots to evade French air and ground attacks, the tunnels later functioned as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals, and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the Vietnam War. You’ll have the opportunity to enter a section of the tunnels and experience their secrets firsthand. Your guide will also showcase various mantraps used during that era, the remains of an American tank, and numerous craters left by B52 bombings. Additionally, you can try your hand at firing an M60, M16, or AK47 at the range adjacent to the tunnel complex. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore the lively and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, known for its bars, pubs, and diverse nightlife activities.
